Beskydská laťka is an international indoor high jump meeting with a tradition going back to 1972. It is part of the World Athletics Indoor Tour at Silver level and every year brings the world’s best high jumpers to Werk Arena in Třinec. We are looking for partners who want to be part of it with us.

Why Beskydská laťka

  • World class. Olympic medallists and world champions have competed here. The meeting records are held by Danil Lysenko (235 cm) and Blanka Vlašić (201 cm).
  • A full arena. Around 4,000 spectators watch the main programme at Werk Arena.
  • TV and online. TVCOM broadcasts the main competitions live, fans follow the results online, and the meeting has its own Instagram and Facebook.
  • An event for the region. The morning belongs to children from Třinec schools and the athletics club, the afternoon to families and athletics fans.
